Have a newborn session coming up and not sure what to wear??
Don't worry. I am about to break everything down for you! This is probably my most asked question in general, so I thought this would be the perfect way to show you some different options you could do and hopefully get an idea!
First of all...
Do you plan to hang these in your house?? If so, where? What color are the walls? If you want these to be cohesive in your house, take that into consideration when picking colors to wear or what type of background area you want to stand in. Let's see what our options are and maybe you'll see something that catches your eye!
Keep it simple. Solid color backdrops.
This is a personal favorite if you are somewhat of a minimalist like myself. Choosing a solid color backdrop is timeless, classic, and never ages. Luckily for you, I have a handful to pick from!
You can't go wrong with a white backdrop and black clothing! SO clean and classic! β¨
Even simple black tees are such a go-to!
Or even do white clothing against a white backdrop and have baby pop in a color swaddle! Basically can't go wrong with a solid white backdrop!
Or if you want to add pops of color like yours truly here! It looks great if you ask me! π€ͺ
A black backdrop is so underrated π€
Stunning every single time and just adds that extra contrast to make everything pop. To me it just adds that extra drama to the overall image!
This beautiful brown has recently been added to the collection and I'm mad I didn't get it sooner. The overall image just feels extra warm and cozy with the brown backdrop and the neutral clothing they picked out. I really hope more parents pick this one out!
Don't forget about my lighter brown! I am obsessed with all of their outfits paired with this backdrop. Arianna couldn't have done better!
Alright now what's the other area of my studio that's available?
Let me just show you....
I mean... must I say more?! I absolutely love everything about this little corner in my studio and taking your newborn family pictures over here feels like home. It's so relaxed. It's just a whole vibe. I love how Kamryn coordinated their outfits with the soft browns!
Or you can go with white clothing here! You cannot go wrong in this area!
Did you notice something about all the images above?? π€
All of the clothing is simple. It's either solid colors or very subtle patterns. I personally feel that loud patterns take away from baby and could potentially be distracting. Less is always more!
Have an idea in your head yet?! π
I hope this sparks an idea of a direction you want to go in when picking out your outfits for your newborn session! π«ΆπΌ
